dialog box
Also modal dialog box. Display of the window of a
screen sequence called
with CALL SCREEN, where the previous window remains visible, although it is inactive. Up to nine dialog boxes can be stacked over a window (see
pop-up level). Modeless dialog boxes, where the previous window remains active, can be implemented in the
SAP GUI as GUI controls only.
