secondary index

Index of database tables defined in the ABAP Dictionary. This index can be created in addition to the primary index. Creating secondary indices can improve performance when accessing databases that evaluate the indices of the database. A secondary database can be unique, but does not have to be. Internal tables can be assigned to a secondary table index
