Technical Type Property
Property of a data type which plays an important role for the compatibility with other data types except reference types.In case of elementary data types, this concerns the predefined ABAP type, the length and the number of decimal places. In case of structured types, this concerns the structure made up of substructures and elementary data types. In case of table types, this concerns the table category, the row type and the table key.
