EXPORT - Export of a Structure Description

Syntax


EXPORT NAMETAB h f ID id.

Effect

This statement exports a generated structure description. It can only be used by ABAP Workbench tools. A standard table without secondary keys can be specified for the field list f.

Exceptions


Non-Catchable Exceptions

  • Cause: Table name is too long
    Runtime Error: EXPORT_NAMETAB_WRONG_ID
  • Cause: Table has incorrect structure
    Runtime Error: EXPORT_NAMETAB_TABLE_ERR
