secondary database

Target database of a secondary connection defined in a database table DBCON. The database system must be a system supported by SAP and the software required for use with ABAP must be installed as a database shared library (DBSL) on the current AS ABAP, if the database is not the same as the standard database of the AS ABAP. Only SAP HANA databases should be used as secondary databases of systems that have a SAP HANA database as a standard database.
